At last--all of the pictures!

One More Step Forward

One more thing accomplished. I finally filled out the application, got the 2 pictures required and headed to the AAA office to get an International Drivers' Permit (don't know if I'll be driving in Europe, but I want to be prepared!). While we were at the AAA office, we wanted to look at travel/tote bags, so Larry and I ambled around the office while I waited for my name to be called. In my hot little hand, I had the application form and the 2 pictures.

I looked at a good number of bags--ever on my lifetime quest for the perfect bag or purse. At some point, I realized that I no longer had the photos! Went back through all the bags, walked around the office, questioned people nearby . . . finally realized that I'd have to go home, get other pics and return next week. Just at that point, Larry found the pics in the pocket of a bag I'd been looking at! Larry has always been our family finder, probably because he thinks so logically. I, personally, think that he says to himself, "Now where would I be if I were two little photos/" and then hears a little voice whispering, "in the pocket of that brown purse . . . " Mission accomplished, thanks to Larry.

I came home and googled for the bag type I was looking at in the AAA office. Found one on eBay and bought it! This one isn't necessarily exactly what I was looking for, but I do like it and I would carry it on a daily basis, so-- The price was right and it has lots of wonderful pockets. Like blogging, I'm going to try it out!
